We have a soft spot for Consolidated-Tomoka(CTO). Besides remaining a great value, it happens to be the first stock we wrote about here. So we were pleased to see a recent profile of new CEO, John Albright in the Daytona Beach News-Journal. We had previously not known much about Albright, who took over on August 1. It seems Albright first learned of the company from a mention in Barrons 15 years ago, though he first bought shares in the past few years. He was already a shareholder and contacted the company’s executive recruiter when he heard that a CEO search was underway. He brings interesting experience to the company and we’re eager to see what he can do in the coming years to unlock the vast value hidden here.
